Don Roberts
Don Roberts spent the last 30 years as a human resource/organization development practitioner, consultant, author, and educator in the U.S., Southeast Asia, and Australia. He was one of the first internal OD consultants in the telecommunications industry, establishing a comprehensive internal OD group that grew to over 50 members serving C&P Telephone, a company of over 40,000 employees. In 1982, Don accepted the newly created position of Management Development Manager for the Hong Kong Telephone Company. After five years in Hong Kong, where he established the human resource development/organization development function, he returned to the U.S. to serve as professor of human resource development for Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. He is currently adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Business at Marymount University and at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. Don holds a BSAE from Purdue University and masters and doctorate degrees in human resource development from The George Washington University.
