Erich Prien

 

Erich P. Prien is an industrial-organizational psychologist. He is self-employed as a consultant to private industry and to several United States government agencies. Dr. Prien is best known for his work in validation research for selection and promotion and in the development of performance appraisal systems. His research interests are in criterion development and measurement and job analysis as it applies to the areas of selection, promotion, training, performance appraisal and organization analysis. He has a B.S from Western Michigan University, a M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University
