Saul Carliner
Saul Carliner is an assistant professor of educational technology with Concordia University in Montreal. Also an industry consultant, his clients include Berlitz, Guidant, IBM, Microsoft, ST Microelectronics, and several government agencies. With research interests in emerging forms of online learning and communication, and the management of learning and communication groups, his books include An Overview of Online Learning, Advanced Web-Based Training (with Margaret Driscoll), Designing E-Learning, and Training Design Basics. He is a Research Fellow of the ASTD, a fellow and past international president of the Society for Technical Communication, and holds a PhD in instructional technology from Georgia State University.
