Penny Ittner
Penny Ittner has spent the past 20 years as a human resource/organization development consultant, helping clients in both the private and public sectors achieve their organizational goals. Prior to establishing her own training and consulting business in 1984, Penny spent eight years as an internal consultant for the Bell System. During divestiture of the Bell System, she worked with AT&T executives and their teams, helping them make successful transitions from the traditionally regulated environment of the Bell System to the highly competitive, international telecommunications environment of today. As an external consultant, Penny’s clients have included such organizations as Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., Bell Atlantic, GTE, BDM, AES, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Federal Judicial Center. Penny holds a degree in Business Administration and an M.S. degree in Human Resource Management from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She currently serves as adjunct faculty member at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she teaches consulting in its Graduate School of Business.
